When It’s Time to Fix It, Not Just Clean It
A deep clean restores a grill. It doesn’t replace a part that has worn out. If your grill looks fine but isn’t performing, or something has failed, start here.
Burners & Igniters
The igniter clicks but the burner won’t light, or the flame burns unevenly across the grill.
Grates & Drip Trays
Grates that are worn or rusted through, or a drip tray that’s damaged or missing.
Not Sure What’s Wrong
Book a repair-only visit. We inspect the grill, find the problem and quote the work.
Switching Fuel Type
Moving between propane/LP and natural gas/NG? We do gas conversions both ways, depending on your model.
From Request to Repaired

Book a repair visit online, or call or text (201) 801-5103. Tell us your grill’s brand and what’s going wrong.
We inspect
On a repair-only visit we do a full inspection of the grill. The service trip and inspection is $125. If you go ahead with the repair, that $125 is applied to your final bill.
You get a quote
Repair work is quoted per job. If a part has to be ordered, we explain the issue and send the quote first.
We install it
We carry common parts on the truck. Ordered parts are installed once they arrive, at a visit we schedule with you.
What a Repair Visit Costs
Service Trip & Full Inspection
For a repair-only visit. We come to you and inspect the whole grill. Applied to your final bill if you go ahead with the repair.
If It’s Beyond Repair
If the grill can’t be repaired, we’ll tell you directly and the trip fee is $75 instead of $125.
Repair Work
Parts and labor are quoted per job once we know what your grill needs, separate from the service trip.
On the Truck, or Ordered In
We carry common parts on the truck. Simple repairs may be completed during the visit when GrillGuard has the right part on the truck. We can’t stock parts for every grill model, though.
If a part has to be ordered, we explain the issue, send you a quote, collect a deposit and order it. Shipping typically takes 5–7 days, but we can’t guarantee the timing. Once the part arrives, we schedule your installation.
Book a Repair Visit Send Repair DetailsIf a repair or installation we performed fails within two years, we come back and make it right — labor’s on us. Parts carry their manufacturer’s warranty, and we handle the claim for you. See full warranty terms

LP to NG, NG to LP
We convert grills from propane/LP to natural gas/NG, and from NG to LP. Not every grill model can be converted, so tell us your brand and model when you request a visit.
During a deep clean, we check all gas connections with either a soapy-water test or an electronic test.

Grill Repair FAQ
What grills do you repair?
We work on all types of grills and most brands, especially Lynx and Weber. Brands we service include Alfresco, DCS, Viking, Wolf, Hestan, Twin Eagles, Kalamazoo, Fire Magic, American Outdoor Grill (AOG), Napoleon, Blaze, Bull, Coyote, Delta Heat, Solaire and Cal Flame. Most of our repair work is on built-in grills and outdoor kitchens.
What repairs do you handle?
We install burners, igniters, grates and drip trays, and handle most repairs. We also do gas conversions. Tell us what’s going on with your grill and we’ll let you know how we can help.
Can I book a repair-only visit?
Yes. Book a repair visit online, or call or text (201) 801-5103. You don’t need a deep clean to book a repair.
How much does a repair cost?
A service trip and full inspection is $125. If the grill is beyond repair, the trip fee is $75 instead of $125. Repair work itself is quoted per job, and if you go ahead with the repair, the $125 is applied to your final bill.
Do you have parts on hand?
We carry common parts on the truck, but we can’t stock parts for every grill model. If we need to order one, we explain the issue, send a quote, collect a deposit and order it. Shipping typically takes 5–7 days, though we can’t guarantee it. We schedule the installation after the part arrives.
Is there a warranty on repairs?
Yes. We guarantee our workmanship for two years: if a repair or installation we performed fails within that time, we come back and make it right at no labor cost. Parts carry their manufacturer’s warranty, and we handle the claim for you. See full warranty terms
Can you convert my grill between propane and natural gas?
We do gas conversions both ways: propane/LP to natural gas/NG and NG to LP. Not every grill model is compatible, so tell us your brand and model.
Is a repair the same as a deep clean?
No. A deep clean removes grease, carbon and rust buildup, and includes a check of all gas connections. A repair replaces or fixes a part that has worn out or stopped working. See the Signature Deep Clean for what cleaning includes.
Do members get a break on parts?
Yes. Members save 10–20% on add-ons and parts depending on their plan, and the Elite Plan includes Parts Concierge service. See membership plans.
Are you insured?
Yes, GrillGuard is fully insured.
